- What is Unique about MTN Data Center Services
Largest commercial Data Center in Uganda: MTN Uganda has a total of 6 Datacenters spread across Central, Eastern, Western and Southern regions, with a total capacity of 972 racks. This is the biggest and most expansive Data Center network in the country.
MTN Data Centers are equipped with a state-of-the-art DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) tool that provides real time monitoring of key conditions within the data center per rack. These conditions include monitoring power, cooling, smoke, fire, and humidity.
We provide monitoring tools for customer specific racks. We also provide dashboards capturing all the environmental conditions for the customer to have full visibility.
The MTN Data Centers have connectivity and redundancy with over 100Gbps backhaul capacity back to the central. All the passive elements are fully redundant. These include transformers, generators, battery, and cooling.
